What Is Working With Velocity Construction Like?
We strive to begin every project with excellent communication. The first step is to schedule a meeting for us to see your home or site with you. Our approach is to visit a property in person and take detailed notes and measurements rather than rely on photos or descriptions to ensure accuracy.
We also pay special attention to details and your short-term and long-term needs. While visiting your property, we’ll discuss all of your desires and preferences for the project. Once we have that information, we will prepare and submit a quote.
After you’ve reviewed the quote, we’ll be happy to answer any questions you have about the project. Once you’ve signed off on the quote and paid the deposit, your place in our schedule will be locked in.
We’ll keep you in the loop throughout the entire process, including while we are making preparations and you’re waiting for us to begin work on your project. We communicate often to let you know how we’re moving along on schedule.
Once the project is complete, we’ll do a walk-through with you, and, if needed, we’ll create a punch list of any tasks that require our attention before final payment is requested.

Yes. Velocity Construction holds a general contractor license and all the necessary insurance. Having a general contractor license means that we’ve passed all the exams and requirements necessary to prove that we know what we’re doing when it comes to construction and renovation. Our insurance protects us, our workers, and our equipment onsite.
What Types of Projects Does Velocity Specialize in?
We especially enjoy working with homeowners on home additions, such as adding a bedroom or back porch or expanding a family room to make it twice as spacious for a growing family. It’s gratifying for us to customize a home for your needs. Additionally, we offer renovation services and full construction services for custom residential and commercial buildings.
What Geographic Areas Does Velocity Work in?
We are happy to serve the Greater Nashville area, including Brentwood and Franklin, in Tennessee. We like to say if you take Interstate 840 and complete the circle, we serve the area inside.
Even if you live outside the 840 circle, though, don’t hesitate to give us a call! You might be close enough that we can take on your project, or if not, we can often recommend someone in your area who can.
